Florian is an experimental physicist who has studied at TU Vienna and focused on the characterization of monolithic CMOS pixel detectors during his PhD at CERN. His main focus was on radiation hardness studies, beam tests and firmware development. As a fellow Florian focuses on module development, assembly and testing which includes the study of chip-to-chip powering and communication, module readout and detector characterization.
