Julian Weick is currently working on his Ph.D. on adaptive signal treatment and self-optimization for Malta chip arrays as part of the detector development group at CERN and the signal processing group at TU Darmstadt. He has completed an apprenticeship as an electrical technician at Endress+Hauser Maulburg as part of an integrated study program and studied electrical engineering and informatics at Karlsruhe and Munich. During his studies he worked on industrial process instrumentation at Endress&Hauser Maulburg and Plavac AG, on magnetic instrumentation at CERN and on the planning and self-optimization of self-adaptive cyber-physical systems at TU Munich.
