Milou is an engineer who has studied at the Technical University of Twente (Netherlands) , where she specialized in device physics and characterization of semiconductor devices, such as photovoltaic cells. She started her journey at CERN as a trainee at the ATLAS magnet group, where she did a design study for the AMS-100 superconducting magnet system. Since October 2020 she has started her PhD at CERN at the ATLAS Pixel Group, where she will focus on multichip sensor to module integration for monolithic and hybrid pixel detectors.
