One of the objectives for qualified technologies is to provide a standard CAD design environment, and some useful IP. This includes the installation of a mixed signal PDK and implementation of a mixed-signal design flow, with special additions (eg specific DRC checks related to the sensor, postrad transistor models, etc.), and subsequent training and design support. CERN will be the contact to the foundry, establish NDA, a frame contract, and organize silicon prototyping and production.
