Mathéo

  • Mechanical engineering school in Albi, France
  • 3 years professional experience as a CAD software development engineer in Toulouse
  • Enrolled as a PhD student at Paul Sabatier University and in collaboration with Institut Clément Ader laboratory in Toulouse.

The topic of PhD concerns the design of

Julian

Julian Weick is currently working on his Ph.D. on adaptive signal treatment and self-optimization for Malta chip arrays as part of the detector development group at CERN and the signal processing group at TU Darmstadt. He has completed an apprenticeship as an electrical technician at Endress+Hauser Maulburg as part of an integrated study program and studied electrical engineering and informatics at Karlsruhe and Munich.

Djunes

Djunes Janssens studied physics at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) in Belgium. As a CERN summer student in 2019, he worked on the discrepancy between measured and simulated gas gains in GEM detectors. In his master's, he studied quantum chaos in the context of holography at VUB's physics theory department. Graduated in 2020, Djunes started his PhD project within EP R&D at CERN on induced signals in detectors with resistive elements.

Weronika

Student at Wroclaw University of Science and Technology in the field of Mechanical Engineering with the specialisation in Refrigeration and Cryogenics. She is involved in designing a new cryogenic facility and designing the cryostats for the 4 T superconducting dipoles.
